Johnny Robert Jackson, Sr.

Suwannee, GA – Johnny Robert Jackson, Sr., 60, passed on Monday, November 10, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

J.R. was born in Greene County on December 29, 1947 to the late Robert Leonard Jackson and Margaret T. Jackson. He was self-employed in photography.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

J.R. is survived by his children, Lynn Jackson of Suwannee, GA, Robbie Jackson of Buford, GA, Cindy Jackson-Baker of Suwannee, GA, Kristin Jackson of Atlanta, GA, Johni Jackson of Atlanta, GA and Lacie Chandler of Alabama; his brothers, Steve Jackson of Atlanta, GA, Danny Jackson of Goldsboro and Scott Jackson of Atlanta, GA; his sisters, Myra Holland of Swansboro, Evelyn Jackson of Greenville, and Dixie Taylor of Beulaville; and his grandchildren, Abigail Baker and Hannah Baker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard L. (Tommy) Jackson.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
