Joyce Grantham Lewis

Four Oaks – Joyce Grantham Lewis, 74, passed away on Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Lewis was born in Johnston County on January 24, 1934 to the late Mr. And Mrs. James Whitley Grantham. Along with her husband, the late William Ralph Lewis Sr., they owned and operated the Rosewood Ready Mart for many years.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service. Interment will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Grantham Family Cemetery, near the family home.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her daughter, Charmane Sutton and husband, Linwood of Four Oaks; a special daughter, Martha Gaskins of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Lance Sutton and wife, Carrie and Amy Nicole Sutton.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William Ralph Lewis, Jr.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at DaVita Dialysis and to Dr. Lee McCaskill for the love and care shown to Mrs. Lewis.
